Gya Labs essential oil blends are ready to use mixes of pure essential oils, bottled at 10ml for diffusers and everyday aromatherapy. This collection holds four blends across three scent families: floral, minty and citrus. Each one is already balanced in fixed proportions, so you are not measuring single oils to build a combination yourself.
An essential oil blend is two or more pure essential oils combined in set proportions. The four blends here are Sleep, Stress Relief, Breathe and Immune. Sleep and Stress Relief are floral, Breathe is minty, Immune is citrus. All are 10ml.
A blend gives you layered scent without buying several single oils and working out the proportions yourself. Because the ratios are fixed, every bottle smells the same each time you use it, which is harder to manage when you are mixing by drop count at home.
Blends also make it simple to change the aroma of a room by time of day. A citrus forward blend suits a morning kitchen or a desk. A floral blend suits the hour before bed. All four blends in this collection come in 10ml bottles, with the oils in each one named on its product page rather than hidden behind a fragrance description.
Sleep Blend brings lavender, ylang ylang and clary sage into a soft floral aroma, and is the one most people reach for in the hour before bed. Stress Relief Blend is floral too but lighter, with ylang ylang and rose geranium lifted by sweet orange and lemongrass, which makes it easier to diffuse during the day.
Breathe Blend is the sharpest of the four. Peppermint, eucalyptus, tea tree, bay laurel leaf and lemon give it a clean minty edge that suits mornings, shower steam and rooms that have been shut up. Immune Blend keeps the eucalyptus and tea tree but leads with sweet orange and lemon, so it reads as citrus rather than minty and works well for seasonal freshening.
In a diffuser, add the number of drops your diffuser’s instructions specify, typically a few drops per 100ml of water, and run it in a ventilated room rather than continuously. Minty and citrus blends such as Breathe Blend and Immune Blend suit mornings and workspaces. Floral blends such as Sleep Blend and Stress Relief Blend are more often diffused in the evening. For a wider evening range see essential oils for sleep, and for daytime calm see aromatherapy for stress.
These blends are not pre diluted, so mix with a carrier oil before any skin contact and patch test first. If you want something ready to apply, the roll ons come pre diluted. Essential oils are not to be swallowed.
A single oil gives you one aroma and full control over what it goes with. A blend gives you a finished aroma with the proportions already set. Single essential oils suit you if you enjoy building your own combinations and following recipes, and blends suit the routines you repeat. You may also see blends described as synergy blends, which simply means the oils were chosen to work together as one aroma rather than combined at random. If you want to build your own, our beginner’s guide to diffuser blends walks through the basics.
Every blend in this collection is made from pure essential oils, supplied in a 10ml bottle, with its constituent oils named on the product page rather than described only as a fragrance. Choosing a blend should not mean giving up knowing what is in it.
Essential oil blends are concentrated. Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact, and keep them out of reach of children and pets. Citrus oils including lemon and sweet orange can increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight when applied topically, so avoid sun exposure on treated skin. Peppermint and eucalyptus are widely advised against around infants and young children. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a health condition, speak to a healthcare professional first. For safe everyday use, read the Gya Labs essential oil safety and dilution guide before applying essential oils to the skin.
