About meditation & yoga
Why does myrrh drip so slowly?
It comes from a tree resin and is much thicker than most oils. Warm the bottle in your hand and hold it upside down for a few seconds.
Will it clog my diffuser?
Thick oils can leave a film. Wipe the diffuser with a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton bud after each use.
Is it safe to diffuse around pets?
Diffuse in a ventilated room for 30 to 60 minutes, and make sure your pet can leave the room. Ask your vet first for cats and birds.
About hair & scalp oil
How often should I use it?
Twice a week, before you wash your hair.
Can I add it to my shampoo?
Yes. Stir 10 drops into a 250 ml bottle of unscented shampoo and shake before each wash.
Will it make my hair greasy?
Only until you wash it. Jojoba rinses out with shampoo.
About perfume & roll-on blends
Why only 6 drops in 10 ml?
Oils worn on skin stay around 3%, so the roller is a soft scent that stays close to you. Six drops in 10 ml is that amount.
Can I wear it as a cologne?
Yes. The first roller, myrrh and wood, is the driest and most cologne-like of the three.
Is myrrh OK in pregnancy?
No. Don't use myrrh if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
About soap & candle making
Can I use it in candles?
You can, but candles need a lot of oil: about 6% of the wax. A small 100 g candle takes about 6 ml. Soap needs far less.
Why add the oils after melting?
Very hot soap base drives off the lighter notes. A minute of cooling keeps more of the scent in the bar.
Will myrrh colour the soap?
It can give clear soap base a faint amber tint. White base hides it.
Everything else
Which myrrh is this?
Organic Commiphora myrrha from Yemen. It smells earthy, woody and resinous, a little bitter, and is thicker than most oils.
Can I put it straight on my skin?
No. Mix it into a carrier oil first and patch test on your inner arm 24 hours before. Don't use it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Which size should I pick?
Most people pick Complete. Routines over $50 ship free, and over $75 they also get a free Eucalyptus. The Starter is the three items one recipe needs; the Collection adds two more.
Do I save when I buy more than one?
Yes, on everything in your cart: 2 items 10% off, 3 to 5 items 15% off, 6 or more 20% off. It's applied automatically.
When does my order ship free?
When the products in your cart come to $50 or more after discounts. A free Eucalyptus is added at $75 and a free Lemon at $95. Shipping Protection doesn't count toward these.
What if I don't like it?
Love it or your money back within 30 days.
