You'll also need
- A bottle with a nozzle or dropper

Steps
- Pour 30 ml of Jojoba into a nozzle bottle.
- Add 5 drops of Cypress and 4 of Rosemary. Close and shake.
- Part dry hair in sections and apply along each parting.
- Massage into the scalp with your fingertips for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo twice. Twice a week is plenty.
- Patch test on your inner arm 24 hours before the first use.
With the Complete for a softer scalp oil, use 3 drops Lavender and 3 drops Cedarwood with 3 drops of Cypress in 30 ml jojoba.

- Pour 30 ml of Jojoba into a clean glass bottle.
- Add 8 drops of Cypress and 7 of Lavender. Close and shake.
- For a massage, warm a teaspoon between your hands before it goes on skin.
- For a bath, stir a tablespoon of the mixed oil into the running water. Never drop essential oils straight into bath water: they float on top.

Yes. Mix 2 drops of Cypress into a palmful of shampoo, wash and rinse well.
Will it make my hair greasy?
Only until you wash it. Jojoba rinses out with shampoo.
About massage & bath
Can I add cypress straight to my bath?
No. Essential oils don't mix with water and sit on top in neat drops. Mix them into a carrier oil first, then add a tablespoon of the mix.
How long does the oil keep?
Use it within 3 months. Keep the bottle closed, cool and out of the light: old oil is more likely to bother skin.
Will the bath be slippery?
A little. Rinse the tub after and take care getting out.
About fresh home scent
Can I make a room spray with it?
Yes: 15 drops of the blend in 100 ml of water with a tablespoon of witch hazel or vodka. Shake before each use and spray into the air, not on wood or fabric.
How many drops go in a diffuser?
Six drops for a standard 100 to 200 ml diffuser: 3 Cypress, 2 Pine Needle, 1 Bergamot.
Is it safe to diffuse around pets?
Diffuse in a ventilated room for 30 to 60 minutes, and make sure your pet can leave the room. Ask your vet first for cats and birds.

How strong should a roll-on be?
This one uses 6 drops in 10 ml, about 3%. That's as strong as a skin blend should go.
Why is the base note so slow to pour?
Vetiver is thick. Warm the bottle in your hand for a minute and hold it upside down.
Can I make it as a spray?
Yes: the same 6 drops in 10 ml of perfumer's alcohol, in a small spray bottle. Let it rest for 48 hours and spray onto skin, away from your eyes.
