This is not the only study. Another study showed how heat therapy or hot water bathing lower body fat percentage and lowered cardiovascular risk factors in type-2 diabetes patients (10).

Meanwhile research published in Phytotherapy Research in November 2010 concluded that lime essential oil played an important role in weight loss in lab mice. Another study concluded that the bioactivities of sweet orange essential oils could aid weight loss. This was published in Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry in 2019.
